This Privacy Policy explains what information Glyph Praxis (glyphpraxis.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It covers our store and the family of interactive apps we offer, including Arcana Praxis, Palma Praxis, Astra Praxis, Oneira Praxis, Runa Praxis, Numera Praxis, Sigilla Praxis, the I Ching, the Decan Spirit Board, Enochian Chess, the Ambient Sanctuary, the Zodiac Man, the Tree of Life, the 3D Chakra Model, and the main Glyph Praxis app. All of these are for entertainment, study, and reflection.

The short version

  • Most of what you create inside the apps stays on your own device and is never sent to us.
  • Your account and membership are handled by Shopify.
  • A few apps send the specific thing you ask about to an AI service to write a reading, and that request is not kept afterward.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Account and membership

When you create an account or join a membership, Shopify (our store platform) collects the details you provide, such as your name and email address, and records your membership status so we can unlock member apps for you. Payment for membership is processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We do not receive or store your full card details.

Things you create inside the apps

Most of the apps save your activity locally in your own web browser (using local storage or IndexedDB) so it is there when you return. This includes items such as tarot journals and reading history, rune casts, dream journal entries, birth chart profiles, saved sigils, calculator history, sound presets, and similar content. This on-device data stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us and we cannot see it. You can remove it at any time by using an app's own delete or clear function, or by clearing your browser's site data. The Oneira Praxis dream journal additionally offers an optional passphrase seal that encrypts your entries on your device.

AI reading features

Several apps offer an optional AI-written interpretation. When, and only when, you actively request one, that app sends the specific input for that single request to our AI provider, Groq, which generates the text and returns it. That request is processed to produce your reading and is not retained by us afterward. Specifically:

  • Palma Praxis sends a photo of your hand, which is resized on your device first, to Groq's vision model for the reading. The photo is not stored by us and is not kept by Groq after the reading is produced.
  • Arcana Praxis, the I Ching, the Decan Spirit Board, Oneira Praxis, Sigilla Praxis, Enochian Chess, and the main Glyph Praxis app send the relevant input for the reading you asked for, such as the cards drawn, the hexagram cast and your question, the chosen spirit and your question, the dream text you chose to interpret, your statement of intent, the game record, or your chart and practice context.
  • Astra Praxis computes your birth chart on your own device. Your birth date, time, and place are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Your use of these features is subject to Groq's own privacy practices, described at groq.com/privacy-policy.

Technical and usage information

Our store is hosted by Shopify and the apps are hosted by Netlify. Like nearly all websites, their servers automatically record standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the date and time of requests. This is used to keep the services secure, reliable, and working correctly. Shopify also provides us with aggregate store analytics. Cookies

The store uses cookies that are necessary for core functions such as your cart, login session, and security, along with Shopify's analytics cookies. You can manage tracking and data-sharing preferences through our Your Privacy Choices page and your browser settings.

How we use your information

  • To provide the store and the apps, and to unlock the member apps you are entitled to.
  • To generate an AI reading when you request one.
  • To respond to your messages and support requests.
  • To keep the services secure and to prevent abuse.
  • To send you account or service emails, and, only if you opt in, occasional updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your on-device app content for advertising.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that make Glyph Praxis work, and only as needed for them to perform their role:

  • Shopify, for the store, accounts, membership, and checkout.
  • Netlify, for hosting the apps.
  • Groq, for generating AI readings when you request one.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our services.

Data retention

Account and membership information is kept for as long as you have an account with us, and afterward only as long as needed for legal, accounting, or security purposes. Content you create inside the apps is kept on your own device and is under your control; you can delete it at any time. AI reading requests are not retained by us after the reading is produced.

Your choices and rights

  • You can view or delete your local app content at any time using each app's controls or by clearing your browser's site data.
  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us.
  • You can manage data-sharing and tracking preferences through Your Privacy Choices.
  • You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We will honor those rights where they apply.

Children

Glyph Praxis is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
